In 2012, NSLComm’s business plan was submitted to the Space Frontier Foundation NewSpace Business Plan competition. The company was awarded 1st place out of 55 teams, winning a US$100,000 prize funded by NASA AMES.

NSLComm has been awarded three years of funding by the Israeli Space Agency and the Office of the Chief Scientist, to develop its adaptable FlexoSub. The fund will cover 85% of the overall development costs.
